I have a rude inconsiderate neighour that has a child at the setting where I work, I thought the child was due to move up to secondary this year but isn't the case. I had been working at the opposite site but as of tomorrow I will be at the same site as the child but in a different key stage. Today we have had a 'set to' with them. We asked them nicely to move the van that was blocking our access to the drive (couldn't get back on or even off if we were to leave). Yes they did move it after being asked twice no one answered first time, however he (stepdad) came along and started to shout and argued at us. This isn't the first time he has come along and argued with us…

I've noticed a few settings have been inspected within 14-20months of their previous visit where at that time they got 'good' and are now getting RI There's nothing in the reports saying that it's because of complaint either Just wondering if the previous 'roughly every 3 years' has been changed?

Hi, i have looked on the watchsted site and looking at a settings ofsted they were really marked down for not having made changes in their written policy on child protection procedures. this must have been a recent ofsted (didnt check the date) so my question is - do you think this is the prevent policy? if not what might it be?

Thought it might be fun to make a folder of new cooking activities we might explore with the children this year. As a very (incompetent cook) hee hee, I'm looking to you wise folk of tried and tested ideas to share with the children. Any thoughts and suggestions would be gratefully received, as well as a delivery of said items in the post all in the name of research.:):)

I will let the children decide BUT I am starting a new class with a new 'Barnaby Bear' and wondered what names you have for your 'bear that goes home' with the children, if you have one!

I have just finished reading a book about Bletchley Park and am inspired to go and visit. I'm wondering if anyone else has been and would recommend it. It's quite a journey to get there for me. Website looks good and seems like there's enough to see there to make a long journey worth it.
