I have a few application forms to fill out this week. I am having fun in the employment section. Right this example may explain it better: Lets call each employer 1 and 2 for cofidenciallty (sp) reasons I have worked with employer 1=3 times March to May 06 (went to work for employer 2 which I have a reason for leaving), then September to October 06 (again I have a reason for leaving), then again April to May 07 (this time should have been long term contact that turned out to be 3 weeks not been given any contact since) I have worked with employer 2=2 times May to September 06(no hours given so worked with employer 1 again) and then January to April 07 (…

Well I have spent my first two days at my new job as Supervisor of a rural pre-school. I didnt enjoy yesterday, everything was very new etc, today was better! The pre-school has had 3 supervisors in years! mmmm? I posted a previous question about staff qualifications and on some sessions the staff qualifications dont meet the standards, but the Chairman told me that she had phoned ofsted and half of staff must be qualified out of ALL staff not per session, if you see what I mean????? I have been observing and there are lots of changes I'd like to make, eg the plans are not linked to stepping stones or even areas of learning?? The same toys are out each day for …

OK Everyone, remember I bagged that fab job six weeks ago, (the Forest school one) set in idyllic grounds in the countryside at the back of a beautiful house well...................... I was aware at interview stage that the site is moving in Septmeber a mile down the road as the owner had sold the house, a local private school has bought the nursery and are building a purpose built unit. Obviously at interview stage I needed to know that I would be moving with them and that my position was guaranteed, I was assurred ...guess what?!! Last Friday I was informed that there may not be a position for me in September and I will have to wait until the end of this month to find…

I will never pinch my husband's socks again - or should I say sock! Pinched a pair of what I thought were matching black socks out of his drawer today (we were going on a trip) After wearing odd socks all day and as if that wasn't bad enough - While in staff room One of my colleagues asked what was written on my socks - I looked down it said SEX ON LEGS! How many children and parents have read that today I wonder? eek!

I went over my overdraft by 26p for one day and got charged £30 last month. I put it down to experience and vowed never to do it again. Guess what? Today I went over the limit again, by £3.28, partly because I was skint from last month and party because the lads DD for their online game went out too. Another £30 charge looming. Please can we have a swearing, ranting smiley here??????
