Well I didn't, lovely I will get very wet today as I will be outside in the play area all day. Ummm must go find my waterproof poncho otherwise I will not be able to sit down anywhere. After tea will be fun until hometime, me thinks better weather for ducks. Is it raining anywhere else? I will tell you how wet I got tonight when I get back. Beth

Why is it when you loose your voice everybody tells you to stop talking then procede to ask you questions on how long has it been since you lost your voice and how bad you sound. I have spent the last 4 weeks apologising for having no voice and every one still keeps asking me questions Funny things the human race :wacko: I think I'm going to take a pad with me tomorrow and see if that works.

just seen this warning on another forum Beware of a new virus that is doing the rounds within MSN messenger. If you get a message from one of your contacts telling you they've got a new photo album to look at it, ignore it !! These messages although they look as if they're from your friend are not and if you open it you get the virus !! Apparantly some have been caught out! Andrea

HI well imagine my dismay when i logged on tuesday to find my subscription had ended. apparently the e-mail i signed up with is not one i check regularily hence not knowing subscription was ending. i have had serious withdrawal symptoms LOL...... but am back, have missed all the posts, and will catch up soon... but right now i have a zoo trip to get organised for , fingers crossed for nice weather for us on our nursery trip. well where do i start ! well im still in the same job i was in with the same inexperienced not so good (to put it nicely) manager and i just want to scream. nothing has changed in more than a year since she took over and everything is going backwards. for one her teaching is terrible she has no concept of what to do,no progression or anthing for example today she did counting to 5 with her class that was it! rest of day playing while she sorted out her selves!!!!!! yet last friday the maths was counting to 20! why now go back to counting to 5 when they all can do it!! and just when i thought we were getting somewhere with the planning by scrapping maths and literacy p…

We have just been exploring floating and sinking in class. I was using a glass fish tank three quarters full of water. There was no way I could carry it to the sink to empty the water out, so I decided to ask the children for their ideas. First idea was to use a beaker/container and scoop out the water and carry to sink but through discussion they realised that it would take a long time and asked for ways that would be quicker. I had a large bucket nearby and a length of plastic tubing. One boy explained that all you needed to do was put one end of the tube in water and suck on the other end and then hold the tube over the bucket!!!!!! It worked. I was so amazed th…
