Did you know that for just £6 you can give 100 children a school dinner which encourages them to go to school and learn? If you log into the Oxfam website here you can find out how to help children all over the world. My daughter bought me a goat and an animal care pack for my birthday today and I wonder how many of us on this forum could help children around the world. Just have a think about it. Will definately be sponsoring a teacher some time this year. Linda

I am in the process of looking at jobs in the Devon area (north/mid) and was wondering if we have members who live/ work there who wouldn't mind sharing knowledge (by PM I don't mean publically here). I am particularly interested in the trials and challenges of the very small schools, which I'm sure are very different from the big inner city schools I am more familiar with. I'm looking for a new challenge and different experience. Thanks

I am thinking about having a go at running - but am awful at it. I belong to a gym but am having to cancel my membership for a while until I know I've got a job to go to etc. How do I get started at running? I have heard that for the first few weeks, you should only do a certain length of time, and alternate between running and walking. Can anyone enlighten me on this? Also, what sort of trainers should I get, as the ones I have now are more for fashion that for running? I don't want to spend a lot of money incase I fail miserably!

Im sure it must be possible, but can anyone tell me how I might put a tape onto CD? We no longer have decent tape recorders at school and I have some tapes at home that its shame to throw out and Id really like the stuff put onto CD but have no clue how to do it. Technical geniuses step forward please. (don't all rush at once though...)

Well I got the bedding out cleaned my room and usual routine jobs been to the bank and called at the shop then decided to sit down and watch Persuasion that I taped last night. Cor Captain Wentworth is gorgeuos Ok still prefer Mr Darcy but he's definatly close second!!
