As quoted from other post from Rea: "If anyone can manage it, and obviously would like to meet, I'll be in the seating area (EY-A50) at around 11.30." Ok I thought I would start a new tread to confirm everything for tommorow if we would like to meet up. I have visions of something going wrong for example spending lots of time looking for each other. My brains in overdrive it been a postive day today. So on that basis: How will we be able to indenfy ourselves to each other? Any ideas anyone? Beth

Please can I have some advice? I don't know which section to put it in. I was thinking about some interviews I have lined up and how to deal with some tricky questions that may come up. One aspect is how to a approch my current working situtation in regards to notice requriements? Also when interviewers ask questions for example can you tell me abit about yourself how I do appoach this? This confused some people in an interview a few days ago, and I didn't look very confident about talking about these roles on the basis both roles are totally different. Thanks in Advance. Beth

I have been busy researching the web for uni work. I noticed a web forum that I had not seen before and I noticed that people had put for example downn safff insted of down south. It looks quiet funny but very clever consdiering they only put the area of UK where you live. Beth

Job Applications
by Guest- 2 replies

Any thoughts on things to put into a letter of support on an application form. Someone said to have a punchy first few lines. Have never had to do one before having been appointed on completion of GTP at the school I was working in. Feeling very inadequate in one way and in another desperate to sell myself well as I'm sure I could do the job well! AOB

Well in the space of around 1 week I now have 3 interviews, one at tea time, one on friday tea time and one next week. I am now madly rushing to make up some questions, get changed again as I am wearing normal clothes for a change and then lunch before going to work at 12pm. I have decided that job interviews are like buses, you don't see one for ages and then 3 come along at once. I hope to get one of these jobs as long as they can accept me attending uni to gain my FDey degree for the next 3 years. I will be mentioning I am training up for EYPs in the comming years. I will keep you posted of any developments within these 3 jobs. Oh and I still haven't…

After being off work ill and reading lots of mags...just wondered if we should start a 'top tips' thread? We could have a separate home one and a school one to share quick tips of the trade if you think it's a good idea. Here's a couple to see how it goes: Home tip: Use the back of a teaspoon to put out your lit candles rather than blowing wax everywhere Classroom tip: Make high displays something that can stay up most of the year such as high frequency words
