I Love My Class...

As some of you know, I'm currently off work with a badly sprained ankle and it's driving me mad! The supply teacher that is in my class is a friend of mine and just a few moments ago my mobile started ringing and it was the teacher. I was worried that something had happened and that's why she was ringing. I answered the phone and heard this strange 'hiya' I thought, that's not Linda, so I said, 'hello' and then I heard Linda in the back ground saying 'it's Nichola, say hello to her'. Linda had rung me up so the kids could say hi to me and I could say hi to them! Such a sweet thing. Only 2 of my class talk and both of them said hi to me. I could hear the noises of the ot…

I find one job the maternaty leave postion and then a different job comes along. Nursery Team Leader Level 3 qualified at 25 hours per week (20 in my case), £7.00 per hour with possible increase, in the next village along from me. I don't know much information about the postion but they would like someone suitable to start in the next couple of weeks. I give in this happens every time I get a job even if its temporary for a few months and then when I need a permanent position nothing will be avialable. Beth

Hi everyone, Just thought i would update you all on my first day with all the changes I have made in place. Firstly i wrote a letter explaining everything to parents and got some lovely feedback. The cafe style snack bar was excepted by the children and they really enjoyed it. Each group (there are three) takes turns each day to prepare snack with their keyworker, this aspect was particulary welcomed by the children. Our Theme is patterns and the children have been using wonderful descriptive language whilst getting involved in all the activities. Overall our learning intentions were met and i felt it was a really good day. At the end of the day the staff…

Desperate To Leave 1 2 3

I have been in my job for nearly a year now, and there has only been 1 week in that whole time where I have enjoyed it. I have been browsing the job pages for several months now, but nothing has come up yet. I've been off work ill for almost a week now, and in that time have done some hard thinking. I honestly think that the reason I am off ill is because of my job. I'm tyring to plan for my wedding, but that has been on the back-burner because of work committments, and …
