I was just looking at the calendar and ended up at the Red Nose site (and ended up buying a few 'goodies' too!). Are any of you holding and fundraising events? I'm thinking I might do something this year. I know my kids are always very aware and enthused by Red Nose Day, so I think it's something great to get them involved in.

I have just had some feedback on wednesday's interview. I did really well but I struggled on a few areas which are: What are my skills, I talked about my computer skills only. Self-confidence/independance, did not give details about B23 knowladge. behaviour, too brief not enough details I was also told to bring in my knowladge from my Foundation Degree course but I was told by someone else not to bring in that knowlagde. So guys I am lost so I need you to help me with ideas for: skills with children self confidnece/indepence with B23 behaviour So then I will be able to do better interviews in the future. snow business I know.. It is now snowing in Halifax with a happy warm me inside my house after this afternoons interview. Went down to the nursery which is attacted to a afro-carrabeen(sp) church went inside and sat down in the cyber cafe meet some lovely, friendly people whilst I was waiting to talk to the lady. I then went to talk to her did really well and she said would get in contact later on today. There was a lovely atmosphere when I walked inside, you know the type that things feel positive, frendly, warm and homley that you would like to work there. It is for a baby room qualified staff, 2 shifts 7.30 - 400/9.00-5.30, not sure of other details …

hi guys, i really wanted to have a rant, so please excuse me, but knew i could do it in here without feeling really bad!! We have just received our schools for a two week placement from uni. my course is Early childhood and education studies. On the preference form i ticked KS1 because there was no foundation stage option. I looked on the chart today only to find that i have been placed in a Y5!! Im really cross, and i know that ul say it will be good experience but iv had experience of this age before, and know that i don't want to teach upper school. I just wish that if they are going to bother asking for your preference, that they will at least look at…

I have had no wonder I am shattered! :wacko: Is it Saturday yet for a long lovely lie in? This week as panned out so far: Monday: Creche followed by school, WW meeting and application forms Tuesday: back to work interview followed by school and another application forms Wednesday: Creche followed by interview, internent/study stuff then football Thursday: College with the lovely white stuff (snow) so no assesment for colllege support, preparing for tommorows interviews. and finally Friday: interview 10.00 am followed by lunch and back out to interview 2.30 pm, then shopping.
