Hi well I have started my first goal off attend weight watchers meetings. Now I only need to get fit to power walk the race for life in May/June. I am feeling soo postive about this year already. I have had a great day at school they even planned for me to work with the children, did they know something I didn't e.g. getting that job! So heres to a postive 2007!!!!!! Beth

Tonight I was making dinner when my youngest daughter said 'Mummy ******* said I cant ever go to her house to play because her mummy thinks we are a rough family'...what does that mean. Now to my daughters credit (she is the youngest of 4 and is 5yr old) didnt seem overly bothered about this and i tentatively tried to explain that different people for reasons only known to themselves can sometimes form wrong opinions about others before getting to know them. She seemed quite happy with this explanation and didnt raise the subject again. Where as I am in bits about it and cant shake of what this woman has said. First Part Of Interview On Wednesday

I have my first interview on Wednesday for the postition of Preschool Leader. I will be spending the day with the preschool and I have to lead a circle time session for twenty minutes. I was thinking of taking in our Persona Doll (thought i could use him to explain how shy and nervous he is feeling, being his first day) then i thought i would ask the children to sing some of their favourite songs to make him feel happier (hopefully some children will oblige and we can have a mini singing session) I then thought i would take in a story sack, which is always good as it has lots of props to fully involve the children. First day back today and all I can say is that if every day is the same as this I want lots more of it!!! New child settled in beautifully, she only just arrived in this country from Australia in December, after we had finished so wasn't able to visit us before starting. I had sent her our Welcome book so she knew what we do and what we all looked like . Her parents found the Pre-school on the website in Australia and contacted me via email. It has been really lovely finally meeting the family after many months of emailing. There are four more children starting over the next two weeks - so let's see how that goes! Sue J
