What a busy half week Tues started on end year annual accounts ( hate it, I'm too methodical and it takes me days to prepare for auditor) p.m. Rang daughter to confirm pickup time for weds am, she forgot we went back on Weds, thought it was thurs , thank goodness I rang her. wed Arrived for 1st day of term to find a family of travellers ( six caravans, lorries, cars etc) in the hall car park, blocking our entrance to preschool . Luckily we have another door we can use for entrance. Varied reaction from parents from total discrimination to light humoured jokes about lucky white heather ( although stereotypical comment not said in malice) I contacted th…

I teach in the FS with another teacher. The other teacher is qualified 2 years ago and before that worked with us as a nursery nurse. I have a problem as she is not pulling her weight. All her half of the planning is simply photocopied from schemes I feel it does not meet the childrens needs and is quite often boring for the children. She is forever leaving the classroom to make phonecalls or to see other members of staff which should wait until break time. My main concern is that she does not teach what shr plans. Half the time i go into her half of the room and she will be making 'to do' lists of making labels on her computer rather than working with groups and teaching.…

Yippeee I have got an interview tommorow morning. *jumps up runs around the room* Part time postion 3 day per week I think its 8.00 til 5.30. I thinks its just my year to succed in my life, find new job, complete year 1 attend yr 2 and loose lots of weight over the year. I have also almost done my 2 sheets of A4 12 notes for my exam next Weds, just a little bit more and I will be done! I will let you know in due course about this job, I still haven't heard anything from the other interview from last year! That sounds very strange to say. Beth

Someone broke into our car on new years eve. We found it looking sad on the pub car park yesterday. Why do people do it? All they took was 3 coats from the back seat and a small storage box with my playgroup stuff in, they'll get a shock when they open that! Buttons, ribbons, old key, multi cloured pencils, small map, ruler, magnifying glass, tweezers, stickers (which they havent earned, and stealing them wont put you on the happy side !) and stuff I cant remember. I'm really not that bothered, what gets me is our car. It's a red Rover 45, horrible car, totally understand how they went out of business, but it's jinxed. This is the 2nd time in as many years the window has…
