On Christmas Day morning my mum and I were chasing a mouse around the house, even before we were dressed in our best clothes!! :wacko: Good job as well we would have had to change them again. We managed to find the mouse in the dinning room. So we thought we had got it under the radiatior, so I goes and get an hammer to hammer it to death. Mum gets old of the hammer and bashes the 'mouse' under the radiatior only to find it was one of my black socks!!! The rest of chrismas was a bore, not much went on in the last couple of days, only visit grans and have mum's brothers around yesterday. Beth P.S. My old signature of 'Actually I do now know my limitations... computers and all things related' is out of date (possibly still real but none the less...) I've just downloaded music from my sons library to my phone, without help. The new one was seen at Roman baths in Bath and just seems to sum up how things should be. Have a great new year everyone

Too Long In The Job!

Last night my husband, son and I were going locally for a curry. We were finding a parking space near the restaurant when a young girl ploughed into the back of our car! Fortunately nobody was hurt and not too much damage was done to either cars. As my husband and the girl were exchanging details I said to my son that she looked familiar but I couldn't think where from or what her name was. When my husband got back in the car I asked him her name-and yes, you have guessed she used to attend my pre-school!!! It just made me realise how long I have been doing this job! Linda

Attached are some pics of our street with houses adorned with christmas lights. Camera without flash, really weird pics, camera with flash lots of white dots ( not shown) So any digital camera experts know how best to photograph lights in the dark??? Last night we had a power failure in our street, the power supply was reduced drastically, setting off our trip switches. We turned all our xmas lights off, got power again, only for it to go off within a few minutes. We have some outside lights plugged in in the garage, went to check there and smelt an awful sulpher type odour, 56 other houses in our area also without power, or diminished power. Only option, tur…
