We have audit in school next week and I was going to make cake for those involved. As a way of making people smile a little during a stressful time I wanted to make it appropriate. My first thought for audit was millionnaire's shortbread. Any other bright ideas?

I had been invited several weeks ago by the child's key person/worker (sorry I can never remember which one I'm meant to use), had given various options for dates and they selected this one. I arrived, never having been before walked through a side gate an was wondering were to go next when a face appeared. I explained who I was and why I was there. The face said "I'll take you there". I was walked into a room which you did have to ring a bell to gain entry. Introduced and had the child pointed out to me. I spoke to the child for a little bit. She's lovely, very s…

Hi all Can ask if any pre-school settings are still following and implementing Phases 1 and all the aspects of the L/S doc and if so how do you go about it? It was all the rage a while ago, then went on the back boiler. Just wondering if its still something Ofsted look for when they come to visit? Just cant seem to get started with it. I keep putting it off, as I don't feel confident in doing some of the activities suggested and in a 3hr session along with everything else, it just feels like a lot of work. Perhaps during the summer hols i will have time to get my head round it and start it in Sept? M

Well I went to London yesterday with 3 of by dearest friends, ( we call ourselves the ladies that lunch). We started with afternoon tea at a nearby hotel to the Royal Albert Hall, which we then saw Frankie Valli and the four seasons. Oh my he was truly amazing. He is now 81 years young and his voice was still incredible. Neil Diamond next can't wait.

I like the bright stars on the index page, but I notice a couple of things stil have the fsf logo, does that signify that there are new posts? Are those changing too! Oh that's bizarre, they've gone now! How very very strange! They were yellow stars alongside the topic titles! Did anyone else see them? Is my iPad acting up?
