Now it's quite possible (likely even) that I am the last to discover this wonderful book - but just in case I thought I would recommend - it has the most fantastic rhyming text and unmistakable humour and I love it - more importantly so do the children!

I've just seen an advert for a nursery apprentice locally, they need GCSES in maths and English, 6 hours of study allowed and setting will pay for training, they need to be available for work from 7.30am-5.30pm, hourly rate is £2.56 an hour! Is this even legal?

Odd question of the day I have some aluminium notices that I used to have screwed on to my old fence. When we replaced the fence, we decided that we needed to take the boards down at weekends to prevent them being damaged by other users ( cricket boot studs that just HAVE to be rested against teh boards!)......so in fact, we haven't put them back up. Someone suggested we use magnets..extra strong ones, to put them up, but as the signs are aliminium, this won't work........BUT if we can find some to screw onto the fence, we could then glue some to the boards so they simply stick together and hold the boards in place......................but I can't find any such beasts. …

I've just seen a job advertised - a leadership role I would be interested in applying for but it's to start in September and the interviews aren't until June (i.e. after the resignation deadline) any ideas about how they could manage that?

We are in the process of having our new friends joining us in September visiting for their inductions. We always say a farewell to them as they leave. On saying can we say goodbye to our new friends, one of our children who really struggles with his social skills ran up to one of them and gave them a hug and said goodbye. Made me feel so proud of him.
