Does anyone know where I coould download this famous chart. It seems to be around quite a lot in nurseries and at some clinics. IT goes something like: If a child lives with criticism, it learn to condem... I would love a copy. Thanks

A nursery where I did 4 months on supply is advertising for a nursery officer, 37 hrs a week, permenant. I didnt like working there due to the restrictions placed on the children by the routines which staff had taken as written in blood. I've been back a few times for odd days and every time I feel myself thinking how wonderful it would be if I could go in and change things i.e. stop the children having to sit on the mat for half an hour while they wait for lunch! I'm tempted to apply, but I told loads of people when I was there that there was no way I'd work there as staff because it was too far removed from playgroup practice, loads of practical activities, less routine…

Hi Oooh I am starting to look busy for job interviews next week. Interview on Monday for a Deputy Preschool Leader, this is the one I would like, um wonder if I could be the B23 co-ordinatior? Then on Tuesday a nursery who had my C.V. from summer rang up about a room leader job, not sure which room it in. They are again interested in my exprience, relavant qualifications and the FDey, they say the maybe able to fit around the day at college. Well the job centre cannot say that I am not looking for jobs in the childcare setor. Beth

Hi the playscheme i am working at (was working at) is closing after half term. Just wondering if anyone knows what we do with all our toys/furniture/equipment. We aren't a registered charity. Heelllpppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last week I had an interview for a job, it was a informal afaire, then straight into induction for the job. I also remember I told them I wanted to think about it but they carried on regardless. Now I am stuck as also I told college that i will be working there from next week, and gave my placement up. The job is for 3 days per week on NMW along with level 2 nursery assistants over the age of 22 years old, I am a level 3 nursery nurse with 3 years experience!
