i posted a while ago about the new f/s manager i have who has no early years experience and to say it unproffesionally i know but she is rubbish. she does not know what the stepping stones are, she says they just play all day, no activities to support learning through play, they just play with the construction or train set. she now sneaks into my room and steals my planning and assessements. even worse when we had ofsted she said i must have a copy of your planning as i am your manager and she claimed it was her planning when ofsted wanted it. what can i do it has got to the stage now that i want to give up teaching beacuse of her. i love the school and dont want to …

After my slip into Yorkshire on a previous post, I thought I would see what other regional variations there are around the country... Yorkshire While = Until Example: At a level crossing, the sign reads 'please wait while lights flash' so the urban myth has it that a Yorkshireman got killed as he waited UNTIL they flashed and got hit by a train. Spell = Splinter Example: Four year old child tells me they have a spell in their finger, I naturally assume they are playing at being Harry Potter and 'go off on one' with role play. Aaaah Laptop Totally Crashed

When I turned my laptop on yesterday I got a black screen and the message " Operating system not found" HELP- Where has it gone? How can I retrieve it? Will I lose everything? LUCKILY I use hubbies computor to get onto the forum and have all the dowloads I've got from the forum, on his computor too and LUCKILY I have most of my preschool work on a seperate hardrive and saved to CD. BUT - I've got all the childrens photo's from Summer term and this term on my laptop and some precious family photo's, plus lots of stuff I haven't saved to CD including last years accounts AAAHHHH Peggy
