Does anyone have a focussed planning simple plan I could share? Also is there anywhere I can download the profile statements and the stepping stone development statements. It would save me days of work. What a wonderful site - You've all saved my sanity this half- term!

They then said that we would need to start practising next week so that they would know it !!!!!! One of them then said " Yes we will have to start practising for the nativity play as well when we come back from half term". Bearing in mind that we will have approx 20 children by Christmas and at least 6 of them will be under 3, one has very limited understanding and at least 4 have to be strongly encouraged to do anything we suggest. …

I was talking to my friend who has a 7 yr old girl and 6 yr old boy and she says she has no idea what to buy the boy for Christmas this year. It turns out this is because he 'already has' a TV, DVD player, CD player, Video player, video games, PS2, Game boy and motorised scooter so (in her words) 'what on earth can I get him? Maybe I should get him the PS3 (he only got PS2 in June) or a mobile 'phone'! Sorry, I know she is my friend but whatever happened to 6 yr olds having TOYS??? And what will she do when he is 10, 12, 14?? When he comes to our house he just mooches around because he is 'bored' and really doesn't know how to play unless it is electronic. When he st…

I have just rung up my local benefits office to claim jobseeksers, as I was told that if I work under 16 hours per week I could then claim again. Well now I have been told differently that I cannot claim because I earn over £56 per week. So this means that I will have to stuggle on trying to pay for things with no money, I just hope I can pay off my car loan. Never mind the tax disc and insurance. What annoys me more is that if I claimed asylam I would get benefits or so I have been told today by the office. It sounds as if it is one rule for us how have lived here all our lifes and a different rule for them. No wonder people are leaving this country so the don'…
