can anyone help - I am looking for some scissors to use in the play dough - we seem to have lost about 6 pairs so now only have two pairs left - i have looked around but can t see to find them anywhere - any ideas please?

Sorry folks but having just seen a photo of a friend and parent social media entitled ' boys having tea ' I'm left a little astounded , the photos show one boy ( 20 m ) in high chair with plate of food , the other at table ( nearly 4 ) with plate of food , neither child is sitting near each other ie at the table together nor are parents but the one thing they have in common ...... Identical iPads ! I just find this so sad and wonder why someone would be proud to post this , am I overreacting , no I don't think so .

One of my parents has changed her job, but is still working the same hours at her new place of work. She sent me an email to say that her husband is going to be working from home fairly regularly and might want to collect their child early sometimes, so.............................how much notice does she need to give me to prevent being charged for those occasions? I don't know quite what to say. I can't afford to let her treat us a drop-in centre and it's unfair on the parents who book time and pay for it. what would you do???

I wonder if anybody here knows whether if a person is going to be a god parent by proxy does the Vicar name them during the baptism service. Without going into family business, it is important to know beforehand if this godparent can remain "silent" or whether she will be named.

I pay an amount with my rent, to contribute towards the heating. The treasurer of the building wrote to me, off his own back last November, complaining that I use too much and suggested that if I want to have heating on (!), then i should pay an extra amount per month over the winter. So, as a gesture of goodwill, and because I recognise that heating is expensive, i have been paying 50% more than he had suggested. However, now that we are in the summer, and because we turned off all the heating at the beginning of April, I have now reverted to the usual rent. I have just received an email from the treasurer, demanding that i pay an extra amount EVERY month of the year, or…

I am looking for a cheaper source of toilet paper.......we currently use the Tork T2 mini jumbo toilet roll dispenser and the paper to go with it, but we seem to go through it at an alarming rate, even when we allow for the other users in the building. I don't want to go back to ordinary loo rolls on a household type of roller............but I really want to cut the costs of this consumable item . Any suggestions please???

At a recent staff meeting we shared ICT ideas/resources and someone suggested a way to download videos from youtube, since youtube is filtered at school; apparently you type in 'ss' after the www. and before the address and it allows you to download the video. I tried this with disastrous results! I now have nothing in 'My Documents' - 1000's of documents have just disappeared! When I go into 'my documents' there are about 30 'files' - I do not recognise the file icons nor the file names which include: 3 vCard File, JSON File, PHP File etc If I do a 'Search Documents' at top right and search e.g. 'reports' the search shows everything I would expect to find and I can …
