I've Done It Again
by Guest- 14 replies

Every holiday i promise myself i am going to be very organised and get all my work done in the first week. I then promise myself that i am going to catch up on all the little jobs that get left till last due to lack of time. Well surprise, surprise i have left it all to the last few days yet again!!!! Why do i do it ?- it ruins the last fews days of my holiday and i kick myself for not having done it earlier. Still i suppose it gets my head back in work mode ready for next week (that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it!)

Happy New Year to all those who are starting back to school / pre school / nursery tomorrow! The start of a new academic year is here again (many apologies to those of you who have already started back), This week will see lots of anxious little faces, tears at the gate, worries about little things like 'what if I need the toilet?', 'Will I have any friends?' 'How can I remember the nice ladies's name?', 'Will it ever be time to go home?' etc. (and that's just the staff - not to mention what the new children might be thinking!?) Well, hope everyone has had a good summer and has a smooth start to the new term. Just trying to decide how to relax tonight? I'm going to have …

Well after sifting through the 700 or so pics we took on honeymoon we've selected the best ones and Joe's put them up on flickr. If you want a look at the sets (one for each location plus an extra one filled mostly with guns, tanks etc from our visits to Pearl Harbour and the Hawai'i museum of the Army.) then here's the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/motti82/sets/ Enjoy and let me know what you think! What a day todays been. The good news: I have been accepted on to the Foundation Degree in Early Years at Bradford College, must make sure I have everything done more forms to fill out etc, etc. The bad news: Unforunately I did not get the job at the preschoo playgroup I so badly wanted. Although they would like to keep my application form on file. Oh well maybe this must be fate, maybe the right job is just around the corner??? Sarah

I'm Engaged!
by Guest- 29 replies

Just wanted to share my fantastic news: After 11 years together, my other half and I are finally officially engaged! There was no great surprise involved; as tends to be the case with our relationship, we just sorted of drifted in to it: started looking at rings, decided what we liked and had one commissioned. We collected it on Sunday morning, before visiting both sets of parents over Sunday and yesterday to announce it. Both parties are suitably pleased. I have been looking like a grinning idiot since the phone call on Thursday to say it was ready, and can't stop looking at my beautiful ring!

I'm A Camping Convert!
by Guest- 17 replies

Just returned from my very first camping expedition! I was so reluctant when my husband recently pestered me,bought a tent and announced we were going camping for the bank holiday weekend with a couple of friends. When we arrived , it was raining of course, the site was behind a grotty looking house. The camping area was full of piles of bricks and logs , there was only one loo with a sink which had one tap..cold water, no showers! The rain continued during the night and at 5am the next morning a noisy cockerel woke us all up. The weather during the day was windy but fine but at night we had torrential downpours and last night we had the ultimate grand finale to our firs…
