Own Health Query
by Guest- 21 replies

I mentioned in my Ofsted post that I had been to the hospital today, thanks to all who enquired after my health. I've started a new post so this query didn't get lost in the Ofsted post. Basically, I went to the doctors last week ( Monday) with shall I say, continence problems. Especially when using the trampoline Anyway, she said she would send me for a test, in the meantime do a sample. I got the hospital appointment for today, which I thought was amazingly quick. It was for a scan. The doctor there said yes ovaries, pelvic something or other all ok, then she said that one kidney was twice the size of the other. . She didn't say what this could …

Forum Down?

Hi - Did anyone else have problems either this afternoon or over the last half hour with forum access? I'm sorry about that - completely baffled, and it was nothing to do with me meddling for a change... but I'd be interested in knowing the times you had problems if you could let me know? Regards, Steve.

Hi Don't think that I have mentioned that a friend of mine wrote the song that Adidas have used for their latest advert. The song is called Eaney Meaney by Jim Noir (not his real name). You know the advert, the one with the two boys playing football and picking all the world cup players to play on their teams. The song is one of those tunes that stick in your head all day, with the line "if you don't give my football back, I'm gonna tell my dad on you" He has just finished a UK tour with his band and will be supporting KT Tunstall soon. He isn't particularly mainstream at the moment (music is kind of happy "pop") but new stuff is kind of thing will hear more o…

Having just got to grips with the idea of a FSco who doesnt work in FS and doesnt understand it, and having accepted that my dear friend and brillinat collegaue is leaving and being repalced by a non FS teacher, I now learn that my job share partner is leaving too. She hasnt got a job to go to but she was very unhappy with the way things have gone this year too. These two teachers have been fantastic to me and we have been a great team together, we are like minded and have battled against the odds to keep the early eyars corner fought well. I just dont know how I can continue to d o that now Im the only FS qualified teacher left and I only work part time. Anyone else…

Hen Do

I'm not getting married until August 07, but people keep asking me what I want to do for my Hen Do. I've been thinking about how men often go away for their Stag Dos, and money doesn't seem to be an issue, whereas I know that if I go away, lots of my friends won't be able to afford it. Then someone suggested that we start saving a bit of money each week - which seems like a well good idea to me. I'd like to go somewhere abroad for about 3 nights. Somewhere with a bit of everything - sun, sights, food, drink and shopping, so that there's something for everyone. I've been to Barcelona a couple of times, so don't really want to go there, but somewhere simila…

Hi i am not sure if i have hayfever or not, i mean i have a summer cold and the odd spell of sneezing, but what is really bothering me is the fact that my eyes are so dry, they feel like they are burning when i close them and there irritating when there open. Last night i was in the pub and they were really burning me and watery, i put it down to the smoky atmosphere, today tho they still burn and are irritating me.... im not tired so i know its not tiredness..... i tend to notice this a bit more when i have been outdoors for a while and when driving (but only when driving when its bright) and i do wear suncgasses then as well. I have brought some refreshing ey…

If I sneeze any more, I think I'll die! My boyfriend is away for the weekend. He's a well fussy eater so have made myself a dinner that I haven't had in ages, and was really looking forward to it, but my nose is so bunged up that I can't taste a thing! I've taken a tablet, but just can't stop sneezing.
