Now I know I've been wittering on about the software upgrade for some time now, and possibly you may have thought the strange error message yesterday when you tried to access the FSF was a part of my grand master plan - but... I'm terribly sorry. I was doing some things with the host computer yesterday which (and I won't bore you with the unpleasant technical details) caused the database system that holds all the forum information to send itself to Coventry. It had nothing to do with the forum upgrade, and I was so busy sorting out other things I wasn't even aware of it until I popped in to check the Forum last evening. On Monday the playgroup had a closure day to allow for staff development. This had come about because two of my staff went on a SEF seminar and it flagged up some things which needed addressing. The chair of the group agreed and we duly worked from 9 am until 3 pm. We were self critical, honest and worked out a lot of new strategies for time management, recording information etc. We left that session feeling fired up and ready to begin again on Tuesday. This morning the committee met in the group for a short meeting to decide on the date and venue for the summer trip. hi everyone. I've just found out that the holiday club i supervise is going to fold at the end of the summer (unless a miricle happens and hundreds of children come flooding in!). We've tried everything to keep it afloat but nothing has worked. We've put it down to us being in such a remote area. We had only a handful of children book for this half term, so decided not to open. Its a real shame, we had some great children attending, who really enjoyed themselves. I'm really stuck now though. This job was keeping my finances in order whilst im at uni, so now im left looking for a new job! never mind, im sure something will turn up. Thanks for listening…

HI my manager (who has worked for the company for 17 years) is leaving at the end of June.... i am absolutly gutted, so sad.... I really really like my manager she is a lovely person, and she very much holds the nursery's best interest at heart. I have only been working with her a little under three months, but i feel we connected well and i will really miss her. this now leaves us with a deputy who constantly instigates all the bitching in the nursery (and im really hoping she will not apply for the managers job, because she would make our life hell!!!... she is very set in her ways, and does not like change of forward thinking!) so i wonder who will get the…
