OOoh, I've just noticed I'm a "F Gardener" status, is this because I've just gone over the 2,000 posts mark?????? Trouble is, I've left the "Runner Beans" in their tissue paper and cups, all in the dark, at preschool for the Easter holidays. Will they survive? My garden is actually landscaped in concrete and shingle and just a few tubs of Mint and Rosemary. Ooh nearly forget I have quit a few hardy daffodils that spring up every year telling me the sunshine will be coming very soon. I do have a large trampoline ( or most expensive sunbed as hubby calls it) which I intend have all my staff jumping on ( one at a time) to support all our children who just complet…

I have been looking for a new 'scrapstore' for over a year and have finally arranged to meet with the manager of the Material Bank at Portsmouth today to have a look round. I am taking a member of staff that is responsible for the 'resources' and we are both really looking forward to it. (The perks of being in charge of the resource cupboards !!!! No doubt we will have to lunch out - I'll let you know what we thought of the scrapstore. Sue J

A little while back, I was at work and one of my colleagues came back into the room after speaking with a parent who was dropping her child off for the day. I thought it was a bit strange as talking to parents was something that was rarely done at my last place . However, she started really fussing over this particular child, to the detriment, I though of a couple of other children trying to gain her attention.
