   Happy Mother's Day - here's hoping that no one forgot, and everyone is being spoiled, at least a bit. Just remember this from Proverbs 31:29 'Many women do noble things but you surpass them all!' Says in my notes for today "What makes a good mother anyhow? Patience? Compassion? The ability to nurse a baby, cook a meal and sew on a button all at the same time?    Must share this ....when my collegue told her family she was going Maypole dancing on saturday morning to her 2 teenage boys and husband.Eldest child said 'thats disgusting !'and walked out of the room.She then said 'and mrs Cuthbertson is coming too'.She said there was a look of horror ,then her husband said'I hope she doesnt forget her thong!!!!!!    Management Computer Program

   Has anyone got any recommendations for a good computer program that helps with keeping check of all the bits of information and money that has to go through pre-schools. I have looked at some of the software on offer and some are so expensive that I couldn't afford them. also some are so complicated that I would get fed up very quickly with them. Have looked at the Instant Nursery manager from Datamove and Childsplay Manager from Turntide. Have had a look through the site but have not found a thread except Toms one on software. would love to know has anyone managed to get a friendly software package since then have gone crossed eyed trying to sort them out.

   Remember to move your clocks forward this weekend. I was hoping to have an extra hour in bed as a Mother's Day treat, but of course we lose it with the clocks changing. Very bad planning!    Hi All, Just thought I would let everyone know, I have been a week without a cigarette - It's great! With all the stresses of work, I was getting worried because I seemed to be wanting more. Been creeping up from 3 or 4 a day to last week reached 15 after more work related problems! Have been really concerned over the last few months, so brought some patches last week and I feel great! I have been down this road before (a few times), so I'm letting you all know on here so I won't be able to start again. The relief is enormous, I haven't got to worry about getting the last one in before leaving in the morning, don't have to worry about coming home lunch time and best of…

   I'm having a really good week this week! I am so excited that I just have to share it with you all! Last Friday I got my job, so spent the whole weekend celebrating, as I was advised to do by many of you ! My first week has been really good and I've learnt so much! I'm going on loads of management courses in the next few weeks and I'm looking forward to that too. Then today, as soon as I got home, there was a letter waiting for me. I went and applied at my local college on Wednesday to do the Foundation Degree in Early Years Childcare and Education and today I received my acceptance!! I can't believe that it went through so quickly but I'm not complain…
