Staffing Nightmare Again

Hi, Those of you who know me have already heard about my staffing nightmares last year, well I have them again but in a different way. My Manager fell at work,on the 20th Feb hitting her head, she returned to work after her day off. Then 8 days later she became dizzy and blacked out at home, she went off sick and then was admitted to hospital on Saturday 4th March (12 days after the fall) for tests. We don't know if her illness is due to the fall. I've had to cover her absence at work. My main concern is that I am really worried about her, she's still in hospital having CAT scans. I've also had to contact H&S executive Incident Centre, even though we are not…

Did something just happen to the Home page? I had a job getting into the forum at first - there wasn't a "view new posts ", etc . But there was a different home page !!! Definitely on here - because I haven't left it yet. I finally got into the Forum Index and then when I clicked onto the home page - lo and behold the original one appeared Sue J Please tell me I'm not going mad Steve !!!!

However, I've never done this before - previous posts have just evolved and disolved. What should I write? How much content should there be, i.e. do I need to give reasons? Who should I write it to - Head, governors, LEA or all of the above?

Feeling glum today. Yesterday developed dry cough in the afternoon. Got up this morning with a very little voice. By the time I reached school, no voice at all. Decided as discomfort grew both in throat and chest to go home. Reaction from management team when I said I thought I need to rest it was:'You'd better get it seen'. (Tone wasn't kind and friendly, had more of a no malingering feel!). Maybe I'm over sensitive, but next stop on the way home was the doctor's surgery. Receptionist said had I seen a pharmacist? When I explained job and that I had had quite a lot of voice problems earlier in the year she suggested a routine appointment. Next available …

We are really skint so I told DH not to buy me anything... then I ordered some PJ's off my catalogue as desperate for some and thought it'd be nice to get him to let our girls wrap them up for me... childrne don't get it if you don't have anything to open do they? Hi everyone Just had my first teaching practice assessment in P1 and it went well . Just to give you a laugh, though, it was my first time using the interactive whiteboard, and I had a bit of a technical problem, but all of a sudden I had about half a dozen wee bodies up to help me - and they sorted out the problem Their knowledge of IT is just fantastic! Anyway, my tutor was quite happy, and gave me some useful pointers for next time, and all in all it was largely positive. So glad I've had this site to help with ideas though. Regards G.
