Yes I know it's not very pc. But I do, and I should also go on the naughty chair in the naughty corner and have gruel for tea (but that'll probably happen anyway ) I posted way back at how awful playgroup had looked when I'd visited. No colour, boring, but in my defence I did say maybe there was a plan that I couldnt see. Well I should have waited and had faith that the leader would know what she was doing. I went in yesterday and could just about tear myself away to go to work. Painting on easels, dough, sand, washing the dolls as well as the usual construction, small world etc. It was busy, children were involved, happy, chatty and the play leader has actually got an…

Just wanted to say hi to everyone that remembers me! I have been back at work since Sept (part time). I work 2 and a half days a week. It's working well but I never seem to have enough time either at school or home! I guess that's just how it is for all mums working or not!! I have popped into the forum to check out what's been happening over the past few months, but now we have a new computer & broadband, you should be seeing a bit more of me again! Thomas is nearly 9 months (I can't believe it) and I thought I would share a picture of my little man with you all. Now don't be getting too broody!!! Looking forward to catching up with you all again. xxx

Hi this has nothing to do with Pre-school children at all but would just like to know if I am getting really old and fuddy duddy in my old age. One of our big local night clubs has for years (so I have been told by a young lady in the council), HISTORICALLY opened up for youngsters for special disco's. When I checked with the club they told me the age range was from 13 to 17 years old. It runs a disco from 7pm to 10pm. I think quite often as well once a week. I asked why they picked that age range as I thought that 13yr olds with possible 17yr olds was a bit dangerous. Teenage pregnancy and all. I was told that it was down to parents if they wanted to let their children …

Hi, if anyone has connected their Xbox to the internet through a wireless connection can you please tell me how I've been trying to do it for two weeks, spending £150 in the process. I am quite positively at the end of my tether. None of the things I have bought (on advice I'll have you know) have done what they say on the tin. I have spoken to 4 people from the Scandinavian countries judging by the accents, and followed their instructions. I have spoken to Xbox twice, to an english man and an American, to no avail. PC world, no help. It seems that if you know what to ask you can get an answer but I dont even know that. Surely someone has a teenager at home who has bee…
