Can anyone enlighten me - what is 'Pauper troll'?! A child was talking about this but I have no idea what it is - wrote it 'as said' but not sure if I heard it correctly - now trying to decipher what I wrote! His speech is not clear. "I watch pauper troll on the tablet". Help would be appreciated!

Hi, i am looking to update some of our forms and wondered whether anyone had a letter/form for staff to sign to state that they are not deemed unsuitable to work with children, or anyone they live with and have no convictions etc.,

we have nade two quiet areas in our room which are for the children to sit in quietly (obviously lol) if they would like time out etc., however they aren't working - children are taking lots of toys etc in there, shouting, jumping on each other as well as many other things - so not a quiet area. no matter how many times i remind them what the area is for - what we do when we are in there it doesn't seem to make any difference - the area is always wrecked/ unusable as a quiet area. any ideas on how to sort this please?

Just wanted to say a Happy Easter to all of you! Hope you have a lovely sunshiney day doing something you enjoy! I have woken up with no voice but don't feel poorly! As long as the weather stays dry I'm hoping to get outside and tidy up my tiny garden a little. I'm also going to try and make an Easter tree - I have some little wooden eggs that I've had for years but have never done anything with! Last on the plan for the day is to have a go at making a mini lemon curd pavlova (just because I have some egg whites that need using up). First on the plan though is trying to work out what on earth has been going on in the Archers - I only listen intermittently and last I…

Well as of end of Spring term, after 29 years as Leader of the village pre-school, I retired. I wasn't intending to go just yet but it was either retire or have a breakdown. Pressure of work was getting to me so badly that I felt as if I was in a hole and paperwork was being poured on top of me. About 5 years ago the chairperson at that time decided to employ an admin person in the office to take some of the paperwork off my shoulders. It worked well and she did all the ordering, bill paying, sending my reports to advisor etc. Last November she resigned after her hours were drastically cut and got a better paid job in town. I was pleased for her but the latest committee…

Well this morning was our Easter concert which all parents/carers and families are invited too. We had lots of sheeps, chicks, frogs, scarecrows, humpy dumptys, hot x buns and ducks. All the children sang their little hearts out and danced to down in the meadow So proud of them all and a lovely end to a half-term. Wishing you all a Happy Easter. Kind regards Fx

Sudden paper towel shortage at work We usually get them through the local school, they have none. I tried to buy some through hubby's work, they don't have any. I tried to buy them from any possible shop near enough to get to. None! We can order for Tuesday but tomorrow will be fun! Where have all the towels gone?!

Our manager has organised a trip but staff arent going. Before I query it, is it normal to arrange something just for the parents and children and be closed to everyone not going? Staff will be at home catching up on paperwork
