My full name is Annette and at pre school we always use our first names. As annette can be a bit difficult to remember, I am always known as Net. For the past 12yrs I have always been Net. Nothing whatsoever to do with children, work, education.....But we (hubby) recorded the film The Hurricane with Denzil Washington last night. We have just sat through about 2.5 hours and the judge (Rod Steiger) giving his verdict, said "The extensive record clearly states to this court"............. and then the DVD stops and goes back to the beginning. You can imagine the scene here at home- after all that time and we don't know the ending! If anyone saw it, PLEASE let me know verdict. (lucky it wasn't me that set the DVD, is all that I'm saying!!) Here we go again (moan time)........ I have mentioned this before somewhere about a certain member of staff not pulling her weight, telling a committee mum that her child had special needs, and is basically lazy(shes been at the setting the longest 7yrs).. Took it to committee who basically said sack her... Chair and i have given her 3 vervbal and now one written waring but agreed to another written as a last hope!!! Did that and staff member has appealed to committee saying she wants this one taken out of her records!!!! As was mentioned in a recent post by Sue , many of the women in our photo's wear a headscarf. Since this not such an uncommon question, I thought I would explain. Community Playtings is run by a Christian Community called the Bruderhof. Don't worry, nothing weird, just a bunch of normal people who share everything (houses, money, cars, etc,) We love our children very much, and see them as the hope for the future. We think other children should be entitled to this as well, but in reality, many don't.
