Well, that was an exciting weekend! We go off to a friend for a brilliant party every year about this time of year, and camp overnight in a big field they have next to their cottage, with a few other party goers. The party usually starts about 3pm and goes on until everyone falls asleep, with a big bonfire and fireworks about 10 ish. Because it's such a big place all the children just disappear into the woods and have a brilliant time, and the grown-ups (as we laughingly call ourselves) do all the serious adult stuff, like getting drunk and falling over. Our dog Ellie also loves the occasion. She's very gregarious and just wanders around between the children …

I just want to say thank you to all who posted policies on here. I have just become supervisor on a playbus and they had no policies. These policies were a great basis for ours, which was a difficult task as we have babies, toddlers,up 5 years old and adults at a session, there were alot of things to cover. Thanks again

Hi all - Following a suggestion from leo I'm hopefully putting a spellchecker into place. You may notice the new button when you're making a new post. But it's not working yet - this message is just to explain that I'm in the middle of getting it working. Don't be surprised if it doesn't do any, well, spell checking - despite the label! I'll let you know when it's working.
