A huge thank-you to everyone who has listened to all my moans and gripes and to everyone who has posted supportive messages/constructive advice. Without all of this (and the nice people in the chat room, lol) I would have been more than desparate by now. I am grateful that you are all there. Diane.

Has anyone out there got the same problem as me .I passed my NNEB in 1984 and have been told it is no longer a recognised qualification, I have spent the last year trying to find out what level it is now regarded as only to be different things by different people ranging from it is still recognised, to I only need to top up right down to it is no longer recognised and I have to completely re train !! I have worked with children constantly since passing and have years of experience under my belt, I was told by the DFE that they don't want to lose people like me but that is exactly what they are doing. Timetable

Hi, I'm new to the site... and teaching actually... and need some advice. You sound like a really helpful lot so I thought you might be able to shed some light My school is a Catholic school and maintains that my reception class needs to go to assembly.. all 4 of them a week. I've broached the subject a couple of times but my suggestions have fallen on stony ground. Anyway, to the point, we are re-writing our timetables and I am trying desperately to fit some teaching around the vast amount of time spent in assembly.... has anyone got an example of a manageable timetable where you can fit everything in? Really need some help here!! Thanks in advance …

Interesting Threads

Dear Everyone, (& Steve and Helen especially) Sometimes there are really interesting threads, which have a lot of good ideas on them (e.g uses for sand tray) on the site (I know this is obvious, but stay with me!...) I was wondering if it owuld be OK to cut & paste them into a word document which I can then keep as a useful resource bank. Are there any objections to this? Hoping not, Dianne xxx
