Do you wear masks at drop off/collection? Do you expect parents to wear them? I'm not talking about during the day with the children- as I think this is very much personal choice and I'm happy for staff to do what ever makes them feel safe. But at the parent points. We collect from car-part so fully outside and as the children are all walkers so we have very minimum contact as such, at collection we sort of chuck them out the door as parents arrive - possibly more of a contact point than drop off. Part of me can't really see the point of masks at these times (with this fully walking age group) as we've just spent a morning with their child anyway. HOWEVER…

Well of course from Midnight the world changes once again......I have found myself very teary and grumpy this week feeling others paind as their businesses struggle and families crumple around me. I KNOW I am not alone so just wanted to say be strong chaps...we can do this again and if we all support each other again both professionally and personally we can ride this roller coaster once more and hopefully come out with just a dizzy head and scarecrow hair! BIG HUG 😝

In these days of doom I thought I would present you with a pressing problem at our Pre-school. We have cable drums that naturally some children like to post things through the centre hole. Most of them can be retrieved with a bit of wiggling (the cable drum not the member of staff!). However, we have a rainmaker stuck inside and would quite like it back. My challenge to you is how do we retrieve it? Please remember to show your workings out as you will get extra marks.

Well, I registered on the employer site, and got my password back within days, all good. But do I need to do anything else now? Am I fully registered? I was expecting to have to log in and create a password etc- but I can't seem to find that option.
