Well we are all packed up, the room is bare and are waiting to move again!! After moving 18 months ago and working SO hard on making both the indoor and outdoor enviroment fantastic we are now moving again After going through so many emotions in the last few months   I now cannot wait for it to be over and done with. We have parents coming in to help shift equipment etc on Saturday and then its up to us to make the new enviroment ready and welcoming for September. Just felt so demoralized this morning when I walked in and cant wait for it to be sorted so we can forget it for a short time and enjoy some of the holiday!!

Forever in your heart Although you are not their mother You care for them each day You cuddle, sing and read to them and watch them as they play. You see each new accomplishment and help them grow and learn They come to you for comfort and you kiss away the tears They proudly show their work to you, you give the loudest cheers. No your not their mother but your role is just as strong You nurture them and keep them safe, though maybe not for long You know someday the time may come when you will have to part But you know each child you have cared for is FOREVER in your heart. Mum was a gibbering wreck today after saying goodbye to us having had her three…

I have Ofsted coming tomorrow for the registration visit for my new setting. My business partner and I are starting to panic and wonder whether we are ready for all of this. Does anyone have any tips on how to handle the pressure of the suitable persons interview?

we had our leavers party this evening - A 'Superhero' theme and all the children turned up in costume. I decided on the hottest day of the year to wear a Superted nylon fluffy onesie with a huge massive head piece. Lots of the children tried the head on including the little SEN chap in the photo, who when his mum showed him the photo, for the first time in 18months of attendance, he attempted my name and blew me a kiss. Makes all the aggro worthwhile doesn't it?

Hi everybody I am currently working on a photographic presentation of the children leaving school (photos taken over the last term) The presentation will be taking place while parents are arriving for our farewell gathering. I am looking for a song to play in the background that will have meaning for our families and children. My colleague and I were thinking (Proud - MPeople/Heather Small) however, we are a little older than many of our families , and I am worried this may not mean as much to our parents if they do not know the song! Does anybody have any suggestions of a song or 2 that may be a little more current. Thank you Mel
