hi, we are starting up a lunch club in September and i would like some ideas on how you separate the children going home to those staying on all day ? you work out resources as want to change them for afternoon sessions but at the same time ensure all children have a good variety whether am, pm or all day to advise parents what to put / not to put in lunch boxes any letters you sent out for those taking part in lunch club you sorted out things like sun cream, any medication etc a child might need if doing all day rather than 3 hours and anything else you can think of or have come across since you started lunch club many thanks

My contract is ending. I wasn't going to get a new phone until I went to change my monthly payment plan. I'm very very tempted by the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 but not by the price  so are there any users out there who can convince me I wont regret the expenditure. Im currently using a Desire S which fulfills a function but which I dont use to capacity as I find the screen too small and when I enlarge the view, its quite difficult to navigate a website.

It would seem we have a problem. We have a little girl at Preschool, aged 3, whose parents had a vindictive spit up just over a year ago, with court battle after court battle over where the little girl would live. Mum is in her 40's and has two children from her previous marriage, and Dad is 27, now living with his Mum so that someone can help provide stability for the little girl whilst he's at work. He has been granted custody (finally). The little girl goes to her Mum's on Sundays and stays until Tuesday morning, as part of their access arrangement. All was working fine until Mum has 'found religion'. Dad has just called me in to chat with him as he's very …

There is a suggestion on fb that people could show support for Drummer Lee Rigby and all our troops, in whichever service they serve, by placing flowers on their local war memorial. Flowers, to me, have always meant love and peace so I shall be placing some on the village memorial later today, as my small stand against terrorism. I am not saying anyone else should, but I do think this is a lovely idea..............

ok im getting a bit cross and need to let off steam,,,,please bear with me! We have for some years supported some of our schools transition days by sending one member of staff to the childrens taster session. Our local school (where the largest percentage of children go) is very used to this and now loves the extra pair of hands...they come to us /we go to them no problem. Some schools are however more reluctant to let us in (i have one that refuses point blank!) but i have a child who needs support going to one school with another few of the group and his SAL therapist has asked us to support.....ok i say! Now (after several attempt) i have managed to get hold …

...and not crying! Anyone got any tips for managing it?! I had a couple of 'challenging' conversations last week and am anticipating another one tomorrow. Have been trying (and failing) not to think about it all weekend but now it's Sunday evening I'm beginning to feel quite sick at the prospect of school tomorrow.
