I have a member of staff who does not have a printer but she emails things to me to check for college work etc. however I can"t read the attachments because they come out in gobbledygook. When I open the attachment it says select encoding that makes your document readable and offers windows default MS DOS and 'other' nothing seems to change it however. Any thoughts anyone?

I'm making a walking rope, I've just bought some webbing from the pound shop but need a simple way to attach handles and ideas on what to use as handles. I had thought of using curtain rings tied on with ribbon but any ideas will be very welcome because I've just been getting deeper and deeper into the internet as I followed various thoughts. :1b :1b

Parents were asked to pay £20 per DVD ordered!!!! Pre-school commission on this was £1.00 for each one ordered !!!! Today the company phoned to fix a date for this year but I declined. Finally thought enough is enough - it disrupts the morning and for not a lot of commission. Has anyone used this sort of company before? As I said we have used them for a few years but finally said "no". Do any of you use a company like this and what do you think of the outcome/price, etc? On the other hand, we have a superb photograp…

I read something about getting children to line up. It was a piece questioning the reason and the futility behind it. I've searched the forum but havent had any success. Does anyone know what I'm looking for and can point me in the right direction? I felt my head was going to explode yesterday listening to our Deputy!!!  One more thing, has anyone been told by anyone that we mustnt tell children to say 'please' and 'thank you'? I was told we mustnt do it because the child might not have those words at home  I'm not going to stop, just wondered what everyone else is being told.
