Hi, Im hoping someone can help, Ive got an advent 7088 with a li-ion battery, had it for just under a year and use it everyday for most of the day and mostly plugged in. A few weeks ago i was trying to get the weight of my laptop bag down so i stupidly bought a new multi-purpose adaptor to keep in work and leave the original one here at home, and mis-read the voltage, it was lower than the original lead and when i plugged it into the laptop nothing happened. However when i plugged the original lead back in, it didnt allow the power through. When the battery drained though, it did start charging. This has been happening ever since, sometime when charging in…

Hello everyone, Recently I have had a Smart board installed into my nursery classroom, I was just wondering if anyone out there has got a template for a register so the children can move their names/pictures to indicate whether they are at school to self register. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Touch Screen Computers

Hi all I don't know whether this has been discussed before - a bit pushed for time at the moment, so not searched for it. Has anyone any experience at buying and using touch screen computers. If so I would love to pick your brains as to recommendations and ease of installation/set up and use. We don't have Internet access at Pre School - so it would be used primarily for running discs etc. Can anyone off any tips/ advice/suppliers? THANKS

Using Pdf Files

Calling all techies I'm trying to help my other half to make a powerpoint presentation and he needs to copy a map into it from a pdf file. I've tried selecting part of it, but it just gives select all as an option. I also thought of trying to save it as another type of file, but it doesn't seem to like that idea either. I'm sure there must be a magic solution, or is it just because it's been saved as read only? A little knowledge is such a dangerous thing! AOB
