We bought a Galt double sided workstation last year for our two computers but the pull out drawers/table have broken and we are obtaining a refund. Can anyone recommend a suitable desk/workstation for children? Can anyone recommend a Galt workstation - were we unlucky? Thanks for your help. Deb

Publisher V Word

Just wanted to open out this debate. Been asking about what newsletters people send home and its brought up this topic. I want to get really good at one or the other at the moment I'm kind of in 'Newsletter` limbo!' I've got half a newsletter on word (which I am more confident with but is it just me or does it have its limitations?) and the other half on publisher! Once you get into publisher is it better for this kind of thing? My problem at the moment is that I've got no printer ink at home and when I save my work to print out at work it comes up on the screen all higgledypiggledy. Will this be because I've got Office XP and work is word 98 or is it more to do with…

If so any chance you could let me have a look at how they are done! Thank you

Photostory3

If you haven't seen it, photostory 3 is a free download from microsoft (I think it needs windows XP to support it) which is really simple to use and creates brilliant photo presentations. You can add writing to your photos (or the children can!) or even record a commentary if you have a microphone. Once all photos etc are imported just click to start and voila presentation automatically runs, zooms in and fades out... It's worth taking a look. (You also need windows media player 10 to run it, which is another free download from the same site).
