We have a lot of those huge story books and am looking for a 'good' storage solution. Would be grateful for any ideas - they are currently in a rack but it's not doing a good job and the books are bending/flopping!

Hello everyone Has anyone made any changes/amendments to your Two Year Check because of the revised EYFS? Or are you carrying on as you were? All seems very quiet on the forum lately, I hope everyone is ok 😊

This podcast with Barbara Adzajlic and Susie Heywood, who established the organisation Gender Friendly Scotland, helps us to reflect on our learning environment, and our own practice that contributes to and shapes that environment, so that we can work towards a whole nursery approach to gender stereotyping which aims to ensure that children and staff in early years settings are not in any way limited because of their gender.

How do we get the policy up-dates from EYA now? since moving over to the new members portal, I am unable to to do this. I e-mailed the EY in December and they sent me all the policies and their up-dates, so I was able to up-date all our policies. But surely we should be able to access up-dates on the new systems, like we used to on the old one.

Hello all I am finding more and more when recruiting, that companies and even other settings are refusing to provide references. They will only confirm someone's dates of employment. Is this standard practice these days? How do I go about getting a proper reference and if I can't, how does it reflect our Safer Recruitment policy? Thanks

So sorry trying to make sure this is in the correct topic area, but will only seem to let me post here!!! Does anyone know the amount of weeks per term Surrey will fund next year ( sept 2021-july 2022). It is normally pretty similar, but some years it can just be off a week and it dictates how I set my term dates. Can anyone help and point me in the correct place? I have checked the funded education page for practitioners on SCC website, and also the new learning portal and can't find it. many thanks in advance Emma.x
