But does anyone have a Vtech Kiddizoom twist camera (blue) that has stopped working and I might be able to salvage a part from? We have 2, but one is missing the left side battery cover (as you look at it from the back as if taking a picture) and I'd love to get them both back out on the ICT area. I've contacted vtech and they don't make spares for it anymore, and I found someone on eBay selling them only to find they have no left side ones left Thank you

Hi, I need to think of some 'situations' to enhance the home corner with. The play has become a bit repetitive unless there's adult involvement so I need to 'shake it up!" a bit! I've done 'Meet the midwife' using the baby clinic items etc. which has gone down well as they LOVE the babies! Any other ideas? (my brain is not working!) Thanks Green Hippo x

Hi, I've set up a little station with a mirror, box of tissues and a bin, where children can go to wipe their nose and see what's going on - promote a little independence. I want a catchy name for it but I have "snot station" stuck in my brain and can't get past it!!! Do you think this is ok? Or can anyone think of another name? Thanks

Hello all, I'm after a couple of storage ideas... 1. Dressing up clothes - having not been interested in dressing up at all for ages my class have suddenly become obsessed by it but my storage (a box!) is rubbish, they ferret about to find what they want and the rest of the contents are strewn over the floor to be trodden on, slipped on and generally get in the way. I do have too many out at the moment - it was an attempt to get a renewed sense of what they were interested in - but I'd like some better storage which makes them more accessible and easier to tidy up! 2. String! I have lots of kite making at the moment (and the other day some boys made really cool …

I'm after some good reading and perhaps audits around the whole strand of Communication & Language. A LOT of our 2 year olds have virtually no language and their Listening & Understanding is also very poor - these are children who are from affluent back grounds, all English and have all had their Health Visitor 2 year check and, according to mums, no problems were raised. Speech & Language are virtually non-existent for PVI in this area. I'm wondering for activities if we need to be looking at baby room ideas?? Welcome any advice and help!

Hi there, I am just looking for advice about a child in my setting who has just turned 3, she has been potty training for a year and at the beginning it went very well. For the past 6 months, she has been having a lot of wee accidents, around 4-5 a day but sometimes doesn't have any at all. I have introduced sticker charts and discussed with her parents the possibilities as to why she has been having accidents. Last week she mentioned to my colleague, after an accident, that she liked doing it?!?!?!??! I really do not know what to do. If anyone has any suggestions or even similarities then please do let me know! Have a lovely weekend everyone! Woooooo it's Friday!…

hi we have a lot of unhealthy lunch boxes and I wanted to try and help the children to develop an awareness of some kind of healthy eating. I know this can be a touchy subject for some parents and wondered if anyone could offer any ideas. I had thought if I made a display with the children in the hall way it may have a subconscious effect  ?!? Its such a big area I thought about a 5-a-day or healthy meals and snacks?
