I started the level 4 in November and was wondering if anyone else was undertaking it. I am really enjoying it and didn't realise that i would learn so much, but am finding some parts quite difficult. I have completed unit 401 and am currently working on unit 402, 403 and 333 ( i am a bit of a butterfly and flit from from unit to unit to keep my interest!) It would be great to be in touch with anyone else doing it to support each other and generally bounce ideas. Hope to hear from people soon.

Hi everyone I am mentoring a couple of staff at work with the NVQ 3 CCLD, and just wondered if anyone knew if it is possible to compare the new style i.e Unit 301, 302, 303 etc with the old style C2, C3, M7 etc. The reason i ask is all the text books i have are all written in the old style and i wanted to keep costs down by not having to buy new books. Any help or advice would be gratefully received

Hi everyone, having a bit of a moment here! I have been getting on nicely today with one of the units and all of a sudden have got completely stuck!! I wondered if anyone could give me any pointers on the following question: Understanding what increases a child's vulnerability to abuse and exploitation and the importance of empowerment, confidence and resilience for a child's welfare. Recognition of social factors e.g. substance abuse, and the possible behaviours of adults involved in abuse. Many thanks in advance

Hi there - I wonder if anyone can help? I'm trying to find some information about what the unit titles of the NVQ 4 CCLD are. I tried to download the handbook from the CACHE website but its the only one not available to download - typical. Would anyone be able to give me the titles - at least that would help me get a good idea of what is covered so that I can give some very basic information to my deputies? Thank you! Maz Oh and if anyone has done it and is prepared to say what they feel they got out of it I would be grateful..

Hi All, This is my first time and god I need help? Where do Istart my ccld level 3. To me it makes sense to start at the beginning and work my way through. But my assessor has told me so start with one of my options 318 and to say the least I am totally confused. Help me please and any advice on writing up a reflective report would be really much appreciated or what to put in it, basically I have been left to my own devices. Helllllllllllllllllllllppppppppppp.
