Nowhere For C3 Assessments

I'm having my c3 assessment gross and fine motor skills at the end of jan 06. The teacher in my class has told me I can have assessment in class with 5/6 children whilst she does dance and movement in the hall! My plan is for the children to move like an elephant, kangaroo and tiger, in and out of some cones and then throw a bean bag into a hoop where a picture of the animal they have just been is. She told me I will be on my own with the children and my assessor and she will stay out of the way. I said she could be there and didn't have to disappear. My point is how can I show gross motor skills, of running like a tiger, jumping like a kangaroo and big strides on th…

Hi, Stuck in a rut and feel like packing this course in - even though i have five units completed and signed off... There is not enough hours in the day to look after my children and one dog, do the plans for work and do this course. Our class have just been told that we lose our tutor in Feb but the course does not finish until June. I suggested that we keep the room on at college so we could meet up, help each other and keep moral up, but it is needed for new students. Our tutor is lovely and feels exactly the same as we do but she only has a certain amount of time to give us before she is handed another class to teach. They are okay when it comes to taking our …

I have homework. How an activity develops confidence in movement from 0-7yrs. I can think of lots of activities for all ages but not sure how putting a 6wk old baby under a baby gym to develop movement will give baby confidence. Same for all ages. Think I may be reading into question a bit too deep. we have gone over how we can help confidence in movement eg praise, sufficient space, equipment, giving explanations etc. But exactly how an activity develops confidence I'm not sure. Child kicking ball promotes confidence in balance. Is that the sort of thing expected?

Hi I really am struggling on this unit. Most seems common sense, but its getting it down on paper. can anyone give me any pointers or shoves in the right direction.. C15.1 pc 1,4,7 range 1a 2a Imagine your a childminder, and look after a girl Carla aged 15 months, and a boy, freddy aged 3. Carla has an accidental injury and Freddy has a non-accidental injury. In your mind, construct a senario for each child, and write down: * a brief description of the child * a short note on how you came across to notice the injury * a sketch of the child's body to show the location of the injury (would you use a body map) * a written description of an injury *why yo…
