Had E3 assessment. Tutor said it went well. I didn't know the answers to everything but she prompted me through anything I wasn't sure of. She does this for everyone. I now have to do a plan of the school and of the classroom. I also have to write up notes of what we discussed. The thing is I think I've bitten off more than I can chew doing this nvq3. I don't have any confidence in putting pen to paper not sure how to word things these days. I haven't worked for six years and haven't done anything college wise since I was 16/17. Hello - can anybody help.... It is 9.30pm, have got this awful cold and can't take in what it is asking. I wish I had chosen flower arranging at college instead of NVQ3!!! (ha! ha!) "the development of self-reliance and self-esteem as a gradual process and how this is affected by maturation and the development of communications skills in children". Just thought I'd say hi as I haven't been in touch for a while. Been busy sorting out witness statements and ref accounts for MC units. Having spoken with my assessor about my assessment next week I don't feel as stressed as I was before. Also I can see light at the end of the tunnel now. Should only need one more assessment and do written work for C15 and C7 and I will be finished. Hopefully, my aim to finish by xmas might just happen. Fingers crossed.

Don't know if i'm coming or going. Just started and nvq3. I've only helped in school with y2 readers for 3 hrs a week for last two yrs. However the college thought I should start the nvq3. I'm totally lost. Been to college twice and we are just having intrductions at the moment paper hand outs and a whizz over C3, which she is going to start teaching on oct 17! In the meantime I don't know if I should be doing anything. she hasn't told us to. Should I be typing something up or planning a p.e. lesson. I've nearly finished this unit but have a couple of questions I don't quite understand. Tried asking my manager and even she wasn't sure what it meant. What are the management structures, lines of accountability and control in your organisation? I'm not sure about the structures but accountability I presume means what is the manager held accountable for such as budget, safety, financial. Am I on the right lines? what about the control bit? What types of organisational policies and ways of working about which you need to consult with your manager? I've put down clear, accurate reports and info at appropriate times. Any other ideas.
