has anybody got any ideas for Kus 3,7,12,13, produce a chart to show a range of indoor and outdoor activities and equipment to cover all areas of physical development, ensuring you include age=appropriateness, safety factors and the specific skills to be developed. explain how spatial awareness, mobility and physical control can be developed by the activities you have listed. i need some inspiration, i feel like I'm answering the same over again, i listed a lot of things to cover this for E3, does anybody know if i can link some of this question back to it. Heres hoping you can help. thanks

i am in the middle of doing unit c3 and have found myself at a stand still with a few questions. Kus 14, Question 1) explain how equipment used to develop gross motor skills can be adapted for children with difficulties or special needs 2) what potential do wheeled toys, both standard and adapted, have for use by children with disabilities Kus 4 explain how free creative activities help children to devlop fine manipulative skills Kus 5, explain the importance of hand eye coordination and fine motor skills in the development of formal educational skills such as writing. please can somebody help me, i would much appreciate any input anybody could offer. Hi, I have just joined your website and had a good look around. As I have just started my NVQ3 there seems to be loads of information that I hope will guide me along the course! The information on E3 is fantastic! It just so happens that is our first unit to study so it is perfect for me. However, I did try to look at the section on C2 and all I get is page not found! I hope someone can find it and bring it back! Also, which unit will you be covering next? We have just 33 weeks to complete the whole NVQ so I hope the other units will be appearing fast! Hi everyone. I think I have just about finished the knowledge and understanding questions that our tutor set us regarding E3 and am expecting my first assessment in the work place in the next week or so. I think I have covered all the PC's in my answers but that cross referencing is going to take some practise! Has anyone any experience of assessments? Just wondering what to expect really. I think I might find that section of the nvq difficult as I am only doing one day a week voluntarily. It must be much easier if you work somewhere all the time and know the ins and outs of everything! What sort of questions do assessors ask? Am I worrying unnecessarily? …

Hi, I am part way through the knowledge & understanding sections of the above unit. Most of it has fallen into place quite nicely and this is the last section that I haven't completed of the first half of the unit and I am a bit puzzled. KU2: It says "Children need to be able to explore, explain how the layout of your work setting helps to encourage children to explore their environment safely and reflects the cultures of the children attending". The cultures bit isn't a problem, it's the other bit that I am not sure how to put into words. After reading the comments of several other members that were made during a conversation in a topic relating to M7 The Foundation Stage Forum I felt compelled to make the following points. Rea makes a very valid remark about the lack of knowledge that some NVQ students lack during and after completion of the course. Sue R talks about the nature of the NVQ and uses the phrase "As such, it assumes knowledge it does not 'teach', requiring research on the part of candidates where gaps in their knowledge might become apparent. " This is where the problems lie as far as I am concerned. The NVQ course is like a skeleton, the bare bones of the subject. The students …
