Hi all Have got a 6th form teacher coming to look round our setting tomorrow to perhaps take on deputy job (had originally applied for bank staff). Chair says that she will be able to do it as she will be able to fast track on an NVQ 3 childcare in 3 months (thats if she wants too). Anyone heard of this? Thanks for any info!

Just wondering if anyone can clarify something for me...I've looked on the webiste(cache) but not found anything. All I'm really after is some info on the grading system for this qualification. I have had a member of staff complete the level 3 & given an overall pass grade.....the only grading system I remember is from school A = very good, B = good, C = average etc does this apply to this? I have asked her about it but she says it's a pass, which I know it is and I have no problem with her at all........it's for future reference really + curiosity many thanks mrs b

Hello everyone. I'm just trying to do this question: How can you support children's resilience according to the child's age, needs and abilities? I've written about creating the right envrionment to foster positive feelings about themselves, the need to help a child be unafraid of failure when trying new activities. But I'm not sure if this is right? I'd be very thankful if anyone could give me a push in the right direction? Thank you! BlueBelle

I'm hoping someone can help me.. as I've looked on the internet and found nothing related to this at all! Part of one of my questions is, how does gender influence a child's development? All I can find on the internet is about how TV influences gender, oh and an article about what influences people to have sex changes.. Neither of which were any help to me.. Can anybody offer me any suggestions? Mrs Weasley

Hullo. Yesterday I was answering a series of questions about safety factors, recognised standards of toys, etc. And I have to answer the question "Why is it important to follow manufacturers' guidelines" I've written about a few things, including the importance of following assembly instructions correctly. Then I went on to give examples of things that could be put together incorrectly which may harm a child. I used a climbing frame as a big thing, but I'm really struggling to think of something small. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks a lot! Mrs Weasley

Does anyone know if I should be answering the knowledge points theoretically, based on what we've been told. Or relating to my setting? Or does it not matter?! Thanks, Mrs Weasley
