Hello all. Can you help please? I am busy writing a piece for my early years profile folder (part of my degree course) and I am writing about those special books that we practitioners use....... we call ours the learning journey books and the children call them their special books..... The ones with photos, post its, etc in them. Can anyone point me in the direction of a book to grab a quote or two from, about the importance of these please? Thank you in advance for any help!!

Hi Everyone, I have started my Foundation degree. As part of our first assignment I have to write some reflective pieces. I know that I do this informally in my work but am not sure if my writing and thoughts are what is needed. I have been reading a variety of useful information in books and journals. I wondered if anyone could advise me on what has worked for them or share some writing just so that I can try and move forward. I have written some notes but cannot move on from there and now I am panicking. Hoping someone more skilled can help. Thank you

Hello I am starting the Foundation Degree in October at Warwick University. I would love some advice on how to get prepared. I have not been given anything yet from the University apart from my enrolment number. What research could I do now to help ease the work load ahead. I have already read through some of the topics and already purchased some of the books from ebay/amazon. What other items would you recommend buying. I hope you can help. AM

Hi all, Yesterday I went to Manchester Bridgwater Hall for my Graduation - what a day!! Apart from the abysmal weather, it was wonderful to see some familiar faces from across the courses and make new friends as we shared pins and horror stories! The Open University organised a great day and really made us all feel very special, emphasising the celebratory aspects, not the solemnity of the occasion, with the result it was an ebullient and joyful event. To those of you who have been there at your own Graduation in any institution, it's a privilege to join your company! To those who are still on the journey - stick with it, it is SOOO worth it!! And of cou…
