Hi all just a quick note to see if anyone has any references on how children dealing with a parental separtion may experience different types of change and trauma...Have got piles of books and forgot where I have read about it . fed up with constantly going through them and the pages just seem a blur at the moment . I also need a reference to how the birth of a new sibling may also affect a child . Will be grateful of any help Thanks in advance

Hello , I am currently researching "supporting children with SEN through tansition into primary school" for my independant study. I would be grateful if anyone could email or post to this topic if they have any information which could inform my research. I am looking at how both settings/schools support the children and what inclusivity practices they use which they find effective. Is this through good practice/policies etc? Theorists and legislation which support effective transitional procedures? EYFS, Every Child Matters, UNCRC Etc. Multi agency and parental involvements. Thank you

I do hope someone can advise me please!! Have been sat at the computer for about 3 hours, getting nowhere fast!!! I am a second year degree student who needs to write a REPORT on planning and managing an appropriate curriculum. The trouble is the REPORT bit! I have done the abstract about my 5 day cross curricula planning Have begun the introduction. Hi, I'm really hoping someone out there can help me. I'm just completing TMA08 & 09. I have finished all my EYCLO's, evidence descriptions, reference list etc so I just have to complete 08. I'm really confused about section 2. Do i refer to 1 document or more? Do I have to choose external, internal formal and internal day to day or just 1? and how do i get all of this information in 550 words. I know I have the use of appendixes but if I have to compare 2 documents from all 3 areas that is an awful lot of analysing. Pleeeeeeeeease help me somebody before my head explodes!!! I am doing the literature review for my research proposal. Have been told to write it much like an essay and that this is the background information for my own research, related theories and current views. I get all of that. I have been busy here for the past 4 hours or so. Feeling fairly good. Now what I am suddenly worried about is the critiquing of articles etc.............. alot of work I have done so far has been about the history behind parent partnership. Am I just to critique research articles not books??? Or should I have been critical of all that I have read????????? Confused. AGAIN!!!! Please help x

Hi Everyone You may have read my earlier post regarding a child development case study on a two year old. well i have nearly finished my essay but im having a mental bloke. I have to apply my essay to theorists such as Piaget Vygotsky Brunner and so on. I have done work on some of these a long time ago through my NNEB. I have serached the internet on Piaget and the more I read the more confused I get can anyone point me in the right direction or give me the answer in simple terms???? I just need to know about his theory? any help with any other cognitive and laguage theorists would be a bonuses? Thank you

I am on the second to last assignment of my Foundation Degree and must finish it by mid April - loads of time I hear you say, especially as being sessional setting I am on Easter Hols (ha ha - end of tax year year processing, registers, p60s etc. etc.). However, as the topic title says you know you're putting of writing that assignment when ............................. have cleaned bathroom and loos, cleaned up garden after dog (ugg), showered, washed hair and blow dried nicely, looked at emails, dipped into here and CLEANED DISPENSER DRAWER OF WASHING MACHINE!!!! Anyone else do these daft things? Really must get on now have an assignment to write

Hi everyone I am due to start the foundation degree in September and can't wait. But I have one very big problem, my husband is not very happy about me doing it. He does have a very stressful job, although so do I. However he does get paid a lot more than i do and he thinks by me doing this course would put more pressure on him. He does cook the dinner in the evenings and I wash up. After school, i am spend what I call good quailty time with my children. Then I bath them and read bed time stories to them everynight. My husband is cooking dinner, whilst i am doing this. (He likes to do the cooking). He thinks I may have to do work during weekends and he is worried…
