hi everyone, im just starting my dissertation for ba(hons)education studies. Im thinking of doing something to do with the value of discussion in the classroom. We have to use a placement to do some research and Ive got yr3 so thort i might ask them how they feel about discussion and if they think it is valuable? What do you guys think? I've got 5000 words so need something quite focussed. Any suggestions for taking it further would be highly welcomed! lucie x

I feel like running away. Started after loads of discussions and sleepless nights to do a level 4 with Northumbria university last year with a deadline date of Sept 3rd 2007 to hand the work in. Went to a meeting with them last week to be told a new degree in Birth To Five will start in Sept 2008 and we will need another 60 points to go in at this level and another course will be starting in October. The staff who took it are devastated - we thought we had a level 4 by September but if we need another 60 points we obviously dont. Do we go ahead and wait till 2008 when Transormation Fund runs out and there is no funding? I just wish I had done the FD when I had the chanc…

by Guest- 6 replies

Hi, a fantastic forum! Need advice on which route to take,I have a PGCE and have taught key stage 2 primary.I am currently taking a career break to focus on my own children.I was thinking of setting up a mother and Todd group in my local area in the hope of it turning into pre-school/nursey one day. Will my qualifications be enough or will I have to do all the early years courses again??!!I've been searching but find all this NVQ/CACHE really confusing. If anyone can give me advice I'd be most grateful. Thankyou!

Could anyone give me an idea of what you write for a critical incident or examples/templates? Do you have to remove names or is it more personal feelings etc?
