Ok so I have a BTEC national diploma in childhood studies and a BA hons in fine art and apart from not having my C in maths (a work in progress!) I am wondering what to move onto next once that's fine. I want to update my knowledge more than anything with an up to date qualification, I'm not sure if QTS would be the right move for me or even EYTS but what would keep me ticking over and possibly lead to something else if I do wished. Any suggestions?

Are any ex nurses who were employed at a preschool as their nursing qualification was considered 'equivalent' at the time? I'm finding it hard to get clear advice on if I my need to retrain or if I am still alright to practice. Thanks

Hello all, Hope everyone has enjoyed their Christmas break and looking forward to the new year :1b I am just wandering if anyone wants to share their experiences of coping with life having completed their BA course. Has anyone followed the Masters route and how different/difficult has it been from the BA? So far I am really unsure whether to settle with the BA and EYT and I keep thinking that I may want to include a masters in my longer term plan. Having said that I am still busy working and enjoying some time away from books and journals but there is a little bit of me that might need more. I am satisfying my need to learn and explore by looking at attending open le…

Has anyone used a Skills Matrix as a way of getting staff to identify the areas they are more/less confident with and need some support or training?

I hope this is an ok place to "advertise" that I am wanting to sell on the books I have accumulated over the past 5 years, through my foundation degree, my EYPS and my BA (Hons) I have five or six large boxes of them but am starting with the few that are not in the loft! I haven't ever sold on ebay or google previously and might do that if necessary! (I am more of buyer than a seller!!!!) So I thought I would do prices including P&P, feel free to message me if you want to haggle!! I have been looking at management traning and before we spend lots of money I wondered if anyone had used this trainer before. The training is provided by The Centre - (THe Centre for Strategy and Communication) and is based in Old St, London. Also do you know of any good management training providers, I am looking for training in dealing with difficult people, appraisals, supervision etc. Can you recomend any? We do have some money to spend but as a charity we want to make sure we get value for money and not find out at the it was a waste of time and money at the end of it all. Thank you (Come on Murray )
