Back in November we went to meet June O'Sullivan MBE at the London offices of LEYF to talk about the current Early Years landscape. Following lengthy discussion regarding the 30 hours roll out and the long-awaited workforce review we agreed that there were some amazing people working in early years and that many of them lacked the confidence to realise just how amazing they are. Rebecca has been busy with writing two new articles on safeguarding ! Safe staff Day to day safeguarding And a very useful list of all the documents around safeguarding you need to be aware of. While I'm here, I'd like to introduce you all to Rebecca; our new website content editor on the FSF. In terms of your Ofsted report this is the phrase you need to have. Without it, however good your learning and development is, your setting will be judged at best ‘Requires Improvement’ Read Rebecca's article and make sure your safeguarding arrangements are effective. :1b And do discuss here any issues regarding the article's content!
