Hi I've just done something dim and can't work out how to put it right. I did have the forum on my mobile and had a dainty little screen with the options in boxes. But now it is looking like it does when I use my desktop. How do I get the mobile version back on phone?

I am currently the Early Years Leader and am soon to be the headteacher at the primary school I work at. We have been using Tapestry in our Early Years room for about a year, now and I have rolled it out through to KS1 since Autumn 2015. I am looking to extend to KS2 this September but would like some advice from anyone who is already using the KS2 section. I'm also interested in whether or not the KS1 and KS2 data can be analysed and looked at as a snapshot like the EYFS data can. Any ideas?

Regular users of the FSF will have noticed that I've been tidying up some of the Forums and the resources. I've sorted things into what I think is sensible and I have tried to reflect the EYFS framework. I'm hoping that it will be easier to find themes and topics within the forums. I've noticed that people have been starting new threads in the new forums - I'd be really grateful to get some feedback on what I've been up to!

I just got a call from China (!), from someone interested in establishing English early years provision there, looking for a suitable "brand" (franchise?). I asked her to send me her e-mail address, so I could post it here: quinscar.lian@hotmail.com I can imagine it being very exciting for children in a larger and more suitable setting than ours to have a sister nursery in China!

Over the last few years we have started a simple graduation ceremony for our preschoolers leaving us. This year I thought it would be nice for the children to recite a simple poem about moving on/ saying goodbye. Any ideas?

Hi everyone out there I have been asked by my head to think about providing early intervention in EYFS which involves the parents. I would really appreciate any suggestions/ideas/thoughts etc. The prioriy is: To develop and establish the use of an early intervention/ family learning pack. The purpose/objectives are: 1. To develop a programme to encourage children to talk and therefore develop their speech, language and communication skills. 2. To equip parents with the confidence and skills to facilitate and model good talk. I have been given a bit of budget and have thought about going down the treasure basket/chatterboxes route but not sure how to do thi…

Vacancies by area?

Hello, I was browsing the vacancies section of the forum and I think it would be better if you could see which area of the country the vacancy is, without having to open each one. Maybe if everyone put the level practitioner they wanted and area in the title it would help. What do you think?

Hi, I'm new to the forum and would love some good suggestions for a display board for the nursery. I work with children aged 2 to 4 and occupy a classroom next door to the reception class. RC have a lovely display board called the WOW board, with criss-crossed ribbons for parents to tuck their contributions on. I need something similar but different! If my board is too similar, parents may be board by the time they join reception and will not contribute as much if at all. So suggestions please????
