   I know you have a vacancies forum slot where we can advertise for staff but what about something where prospective staff can search for jobs in the sector, perhaps put cvs on even if you just make it for members. I have been talking to other people in the sector lately who have said they have been made redundant due to falling children numbers and others just needing to try something new. I advertise with job centre plus, colleges and dont have too many problems filling vacancies but I know other people do.

   Hi there! I'm being observed next Wednesday for my performance management. They are looking at PSE and reading. We use the ORT scheme and this week have a reading morning where the parents come in and help there children with the activities, which we link to the 6 areas. Every week we normally have an ORT morning like this. The following week our topic is 'our school enironment', we will see ICT in practice etc. I'm not sure whether to link my reading obs to this or to ORT. If you could give me any ideas I would be grateful. ow do you teach reading in your school? Thanks

   my first week back in reception with all 30 children together, on Friday I am doing the KS1 assembly -eek, i hate doing them- it will be the first KS1 assembly for the reception year , all 90 of them.    Three days running one of our boys has bitten another child - different one each day. Does anyone have any strategies for dealing with this to protect the other children.    Hi - wondering if anybody could help me - we were discussing action songs at school today that we could use to support our current topic - where i live. I remeber using a song many moons ago in one of my assemblies that was called - i walked to school one morning (it gave different actions - walk/hop/jump etc) and was great - however after bigging it up to the otehr staff i have come home & can not find any trace of it on any of my action rhymes/songs tapes/cd's!!!!!!! I have done a search on the net - it gave me the tweenies version - but i can't downlioad it!!! Does anybody have any idea where i can find this - my reputation for knowledge of action songs relies upon…
