Just opened my March EYE mag and saw Barnardos Big Toddle advertised on the back encouraging settings to raise money for Barnardos by having a sponsored walk and just wondering if anyone else had seen this and was considering doing it? After researching a little on their website discovered the nearest Barnardos run event is over 45 minute drive so don't think would be suitable but you can host it yourself with ideas such as fancy dress theme which sounded fun so am going to pitch to the leader tomorrow (if we're open!) and then approach committee before registering- doesn't sound like much organising (she says naively) and get a nice pack to help organise it all... However I have just been asked if I would organise the end of term party!, as the parents committee feel it would be a great way to meet the parents and children. The party is held in a village hall which is just across the playground from the pre school. I have been asked to come up with a theme, however there is no budget for the party as all parents are asked to contribute food and any other require…
