Your Foundation Stage Forum membership is registered by default to the person who initially subscribed and paid for your Tapestry subscription - or if you have just purchased an FSF membership, then to the person who made this purchase. In this tutorial we're going to look at the Staff Observation Count screens. Please note by default only managers will be able to see this screen, if you want staff to be able to access it you will just need to change the user permission for this to 'permitted'. This tutorial talks you through the user permissions on Tapestry. To access these screens you will need to click on the 'Tracking' tab at the top of the page (1), you'll then need to select the 'General' tab (2) from there. After you have enabled the Care Diary via your Control Panel, this tutorial talks you through how to do this, you can use this tool to communicate with relatives. The Montessori Summative Assessment screen will allow you to add assessments for observations you have made of the child/children - without having to add a full observation as we understand that children may join the nursery/school already possessing knowledge and skills they have learnt at home. These assessments will not always require or justify a full observation to be carried out and therefore you will now be able to add these assessments manually. This screen is available from the Tracking tab on Tapestry and will show you the coverage of Montessori activities per child/group over a specific period or the full year.
