If you've been permitted by your child's setting (school, nursery, childminder etc.), then you'll be able to reply to an observation with another observation. This can be useful if you'd like to reply privately to a group observation, or reply with more details than a comment will allow (such as with media or a document). Firstly, you'll need to go to the Observations tab (1), and click on the observation you'd like to reply to (2). At the bottom of the page, click on the action 'Reply with an Observation'. It is possible to reply to observations with another observation. This can be helpful if you would like to add a more in-depth reply than would be possible in a comment (for example if you wanted to include media) or would like to quickly add an observation that is linked to the one you are replying to. On the Bespoke Flag Sets section of the Flag Settings page in the Control Panel, when you expand it you will see a section called Draft Bespoke Flag Sets. This is where you'll see any bespoke flag sets that you've started adding but haven't saved yet, for whatever reason, and so have left as unfinished. You can return to keep editing these, or choose to discard them, at any time that you like. Please note that you can't enable draft bespoke flag sets on your account or add them to Observations or Reflections - you will need to save them first to do this. You can access the CPD site either on the browser version of Tapestry from the CPD link at the top of the page within your account or from https://cpd.tapestry.info/. This tutorial talks you through the whole process of logging in but please note in order to do so, you will need to be a manager or full staff member on Tapestry. To log in on the CPD site click 'Log in' (1) in the top right, and then select 'Tapestry' (2) to login using your Tapestry details. This will take you to the main Tapestry log in page. You can access our continuing professional development (or CPD) courses using your Tapestry login. Please note, currently this is only available to managers and full members of staff on Tapestry and not PIN-only staff. If you try leaving an observation before adding a title and children or you press on the 'Cancel' button, you will be given the following options. These are: Delete the observation Keep the observation and save it as a draft Keep editing the observation If you choose 2, to save the observation as a draft, it will be stored separately to your other observations. Once you save an observation as a draft, you will be able to find it from your main observations list by selecting "[number] draft post/s on this device". Here you will see all your drafts.
